New Delhi, 24 November (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis declined by Rs 300 to Rs 13500 per quintal due to the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100/200 per quintal. There were around 7000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices slipped by Rs 100/200 per quintal. The active contract prices slipped by Rs 94 or 0.69 percent to Rs 13504 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
