New Delhi, 23 April (NNS): The price of dry ginger does not gets support during the previous days, due to this reason, it sale seems sluggish. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal, as a result, the prices of dry ginger remained stable at Rs 27500/28000 per quintal. The production of ginger reported to be good during the current season. The remaining chalk of previous season has also been lying in the markets. There is no possibility of more increment in the prices till the old stock has been sold out in the markets. The arrivals of the new crop get affected as the production of ginger seems bumper in Karnataka and Kerala. The farmers have cultivated huge amount of ginger during the previous year on seeing it’s higher prices, due to this reason, it’s supply seems high. The market sentiments reported to be due to the higher production.
