New Delhi, 04 May (NNS): The prices of cumin went down by Rs 600 to Rs 23100 per quintal due to the weak buying from the stockists even after the sluggish prices. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There were around 18000/20000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices slipped by Rs 100/125 per 20 kg. The active contract prices went down by Rs 455 or 2.23 percent to Rs 19990 per quintal owing to the constant speculative buying. The prices of spot cumin will not likely to increase during the coming week because of the lack of activenss from the exporters.
