New Delhi, 06 May (NNS): The arrivals of cumin reported to be around 16/17000 bags in Unjha. The arrivals reported to be weak, after this, the buying seems sluggish, due to this, the prices of this famous commodity went down by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. Here, the prices of cumin improved by Rs 100 to Rs 23200 per quintal owing to the improved buying after the downfall in the prices during the previous days. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices jumped by Rs 135 or 0.68 percent to Rs 20100 per quintal due to the higher speculative buying. There is no possibility of downfall in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
