New Delhi, 06 May (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 15300 per quintal owing to the improved offtake even after the downfall during the previous day. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 3000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal. Here, the active turmeric contract prices gained by Rs 72 or 0.44 percent to Rs 16368 per quintal owing to the increment in speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
