New Delhi, 11 May (NNS): The prices of cumin showed soft trend after uptrend in the prices, due to this, here, the prices of average quality cumin went down by Rs 100 to Rs 22500/23000 per quintal. The arrivals of cumin reported to be high in Unjha. The traders are doing profit taking selling as the arrivals reported to be high in the markets and the export demand seems weak. The export of cumin gets affected due to the tensions in middle-east and weak procurement in China. The supply reported to be high because of the good production in Gujarat and Rajasthan, due to this, the procurement seems weak at the higher level. The local stockists are active and the buying seems constant at the higher prices, due to this, the demand reported to be weak. There is no possibility of more increment in the prices during the coming days.
