New Delhi, 20 May (NNS): The farmers are doing limited selling, due to this, the arrivals of cumin reported to be around 14000/15000 bags in Unjha. There, its prices improved by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg owing to the weak arrivals than the normal level. Here, the prices of cumin rose by Rs 100 to Rs 22500 per quintal due to the increased nominal buying. During the previous day, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. The active contract prices ascended by Rs 185 or 0.95 percent to Rs 19670 per quintal due to the increment in speculative buying. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
