New Delhi, 25 May (NNS): The prices of cumin held stable at Rs 22500 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists at the improved prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 13000/14000 bags of cumin reported to arrive reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went down by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. The active contract prices improved by Rs 15 or 0.08 percent to Rs 19525 per quintal because of the sluggish speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect amid expected buying of monsoon. There is no fear of downfall in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
