New Delhi, 29 May (NNS): The rainfall reported to be intermittent from the last some days in Tamil Nadu and kerela, due to this reason, the supply gets affected. As a result, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis improved by Rs 100 to Rs 14700 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 8000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices went down by Rs 10 or 0.06 percent to Rs 16206 per quintal owing to the sluggish speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to move in the limited area during the coming days.
