New Delhi, 02 June (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin remained firm at Rs 22400 per quintal owing to the weak sale even after the downfall in the prices during the previous day. Before this, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 11000/12000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices reduced by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. The active contract prices reduced by Rs 70 or 0.37 to Rs 18980 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices during the near future.
