New Delhi, 10 June (NNS): The sale of turmeric reported to be sluggish at the improved prices. As a result, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained firm at Rs 14700 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 4000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices improved by Rs 56 or 0.36 percent to Rs 15688 per quintal, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.
