New Delhi, 12 June (NNS): The offtake of turmeric reported to be around 8000 bags in Erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. Recently, the prices rose by Rs 100/200 per quintal. Here also, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained stable at Rs 14700 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices ascended  by Rs 304 or 1.94 percent to Rs 15980 per quintal owing to the increased speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
