New Delhi, 15 June (NNS): The market of coriander reported to be sluggish after the increment in the prices, but today, the prices of coriander badami ascended by Rs 200 to Rs 14400/14500 per quintal due to the lack of demand support. The trade seems sluggish because of the sluggish demand from the big trader and increment in the arrivals in the markets. We believe that the production of coriander reported to be weak this year, but the prices have remained under pressure amid lack of demand support. However, the prices will not show downfall for the long period because of its weak production this year. The arrivals of the new crop reported to be weak in the big markets like Rajasthan and MP, due to this, there is a lack of coriander in spot market. Its trade will be profitable during the near future.
