New Delhi, 22 June (NNS):The prices of cumin  jumped by Rs 700 to Rs 22400 per quintal due to the strong buying at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There were around 12000/14000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices rose by Rs 20/75 per 20 kg .  The active contact prices gained by Rs 40 or 0.19 to Rs 21005 per quintal due to the nominal speculative buying. There is fear of profit taking selling from the stockists during the near future.
