New Delhi, 16 July (NNS): today also, the future of cumin reported to be strong after the constant recruitment in the prices, due to this the prices of its average quality gained by Rs 200 to Rs 22200/22400 per quintal. The prices of human short temporary increment and there is a lack of demand support, due to this, there is no possibility of long increment in the prices. China is the biggest purchaser of Indian cumin, but it increase its own production from the last some time, due to this reason, the demand of Indian stock fell down by 50%. On seeing the higher prices of previous years, the farmers have increased its sowing, due to this, the arrivals of new stock has been started increasing in the market. Apart from this, old stock has been lying to both the traders and the stockists, due to this, that supply reported to be high and its demand seems weak. Both the domestic spice companies and processors are purchasing the stock as per their needs rather than storing the stock.
