New Delhi, 24 August (NNS): The prices of red chilli 334 no. remained firm at Rs 24200 per quintal because of the sluggish offtake even after the uptrend in the prices during the previous days. Recently, the price have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 50000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain sluggish during the near future.
