New Delhi, 25 August (NNS): There were around 11000/12000 bags of cumin were reported to arrive in Unjha. The arrivals reported to be at the higher level, due to this, there, the prices held stable at the same level. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 15/20 per kg. Here, cumin prices improved by Rs 100 to Rs 22900 per quintal because of the nominal buying even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contact prices gained by Rs 115 or 0.55 to Rs 20950 per quintal due to the limited speculative buying. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the near future.
