New Delhi, 04 September (NNS): The prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis remained at Rs 18500 per quintal. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. The trading activities reported to be close in Erode. There were around 5000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices dropped down by Rs 200 per quintal. The active contract prices went up by Rs 78 or 0.39 percent to Rs 20322 per quintal because of the limited speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
