New Delhi, 07 September (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis descended by Rs 800 to Rs 18700 per quintal because of the weak buying from the stockists even after the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone down to Rs 18500 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices remained unchanged. The active contract prices rose by Rs 180 to 0.88 percent to Rs 20582 per quintal due to the increased speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to increase during the near future.
