New Delhi, 14 September (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis improved by Rs 100
to Rs 18800 per quintal owing to the increased buying even after the higher prices. Recently, the
prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of turmeric reported to
arrive and the prices have gone up by Rs 300/400 per quintal. The contract market remained
close, but before this , the active contract prices jumped by Rs 652 or 3.17 percent to Rs 21210
per quintal, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of increment in
the prices during the coming days.
