New Delhi, September 29 (NNS): Buying interest in cumin increased following the recent decline. As a result, standard cumin rose by Rs 200 to Rs 23,400 per quintal. It had recently declined by Rs 100. Arrivals at Unjha were reported at around 12,000–14,000 bags, while prices increased by Rs 20–25 per 20 kg. Active futures improved by ₹35, or 0.16%, to Rs 22100 , supported by marginal speculative buying. These developments could influence market sentiment. Cumin is expected to remain firm in the spot market over the next one to two days.
