New Delhi, 30 September (NNS): Following the recent rise, demand for cumin has increased further. Consequently, The prices of cumin rose by another Rs 200 to Rs 23600 per quintal. It had recently gained by the same amount. Arrivals at Unjha were reported at around 10000/12000 bags and the prices gained by Rs 50/120 per 20 kg. Strong buying by speculators pushed the active futures contract up by Rs 345 or 1.56%, to Rs 22515, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. Cumin prices may remain firm in the spot market over the next one to two days.
