New Delhi, 12 October (NNS): Here, the prices of black pepper markara improved by Rs 5 to Rs 770/780 per kg. The arrivals and the supply of black pepper in all the famous markets along with Kochi reported to be limited. Both the farmers and the local traders have stored their stock in the expectations of increment in the prices, due to this, the arrivals showed down fall in the markets and the prices also get support. The rupee seems weak against the American dollar, and the import cost also seems high, due to this, the prices of imported black pepper have been ruling and the higher level, due to this reason, both the demand and the domestic prices of Indian black pepper have been ruling at the higher level.
