New Delhi, 16 October (NNS): During the previous day, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained  to Rs 22000/22200 per quintal due to the constant selling, but today, its prices went down by Rs 200 to Rs 21800/22000 per quintal. The arrivals of the stock reported to be weak and also a shortage of best quality stock. The arrivals seems weak in the famous markets like Sangli and Nizamabad and the prices showed constant fluctuations due to the constant speculation in the markets. both the traders and the stockists are holding huge amount of stock and the situation seems positive in the spot markets. On the other hand, the export of turmeric seems high from the countries like China, Bangladesh, Turkey, Sri lanka and Nigeria, due to this, the prices gets support in the Indian  markets. The prices may increase after some time during the near future.
